How to Change the Author of a WordPress Post

In this short guide we will find out how to change the author of a WordPress post from one use to another.

Assuming the post has been saved by one user and you wish to change the author of that post to another user on the WordPress site.

1) Find the post in question and edit it

2) Scroll down the post editor page and look for the Author section. If you see it, then change the Author and save the Daft or Update the post

3) If you do not see the author displayed then it probably needs enabled on the Screen Options bar at the top of the page

4)Look for the Screen Options tab to the top right of the page an click it

5) Then enable Author

6) After that you can go back to step 2 to change the Author then save the Post
