You can create an account for free from which you can save and load saved areas unique to you. Click [Create Free Account] to create a new, free account. Once you confirm your email, you will be able to save and load maps while logged in.

Why was the multiple areas total eliminated as well as color selection? This was a very useful feature that makes no sense in not having if one has multiple non-connecting areas that is automatically added to a total square footage after mapping out all areas needing to be figured for a service proposal or material purchasing purposes.

On 30th March 2025I have to echo the others. I used to use this all the time. I come back occasionally since the update but it continues to be useless. Another comment says "read the directions." I double click, and it just adds then deletes the point I want rather than "finishing the area". If you clear the map, it's then impossible to make new points. I'm on the latest version of Chrome, the most popular browser in the world.
On 30th March 2025Loaded with useless ads and nothing works. Bring back the old version, whatever that one was. My stored content is no longer stored either. Ads, more ads and more ads, which do nothing for for using this site, only to add clutter to my browser. I have used this tool for years, follow the directions and nothing works except for more pop up ads.

On 11th January 2025Use to be a great tool. Now its just woke, broke and useless.
On 3rd January 2025The tool doesn't calculate area anymore, so it is pretty useless in it's current form. That said, everyone demanding for this to be resolved immediately need to understand that this is FREE software provided by someone probably in their spare time. I doubt very much that they've broken it on purpose to upset you. I imagine it is more due to some incompatibility with dependencies and/or the map provider. If you don't; like it, feel free to build your own tool and send us all a link!
On 12th December 20245 or so years ago this was so simple and intuitive to use.
Now simple features removed and nonsense added.
Sad.
Too bad everyone thinks everything digital can, or more often, believes it needs improving, when it's working perfectly. I was told this was once the place for rural land owners to make calculations and plans. Clearly they were mistaken. But, it is indeed useless.
